Initial situation
The apartment building originally had no balconies. The aim was to add safe outdoor space without placing unnecessary load on the existing façade and to create a consistent appearance.
Proposed solution
We designed 32 suspended aluminium balconies, 8 top canopies and 32 pairs of side screens with drying racks. The railings use frosted safety glass and the structures have a RAL 1015 KOMAXIT powder-coated finish.
Project delivery
After measurement and technical assessment, we completed the design preparation, manufactured the aluminium structures in Trnava, applied the surface finish and installed the balconies in stages. The work was coordinated with the building representatives according to the agreed schedule.
Project schedule: Staged delivery according to the schedule agreed with the apartment-building representatives.
Result
The building gained 32 new balconies with side screens, drying racks and canopies protecting the top floors. The lightweight aluminium structures do not rust, require minimal maintenance and give the façade a consistent appearance.
